2026 Physical Inventory Summary
This year, our physical inventories were conducted the week beginning February 2nd. While our store teams did a great job with preparation and execution, WIS brought a mixed bag regarding the number and quality of counters.

The Paylocity Learning Management System is where we publish all of the training for Mast, whether it’s product training like the excellent courses on HOKA, Wrangler, or Fiesta Ware, or it’s courses that help you navigate some of the Paylocity features like the Organization Chart or using the Time Clock Kiosk.
Once Upon a Time...January & February 2026
A new employee completed their paperwork and had their first day at the Mast Store. And then, five years, ten years, and more flew by. Happy anniversary to Jon Zuback (SF - 10 years) and Chris Collar (GV – 15 years).
Reminders for March 2026
March is open enrollment month, the John E. Cooper, III Memorial Scholarship deadline is approaching, and the new system launch date is April 6.
Blue Tape Galleries and Gowns
Mast’s blue tape art has certainly come a long way. No one’s quite sure when creating sculptures from wads of used tape became “a thing,” but now, it’s a post-inventory tradition all the stores are invested in.
Collaboration Leads to Celebration!
What does it mean to collaborate? According to the dictionary, collaborate is a verb meaning to work jointly on an activity, especially to produce or create something. The etymology of the word stretches back to the late 14th century with a mashup of French words meaning “labor” (to work, toil, take pains, keep busy) and “com” from Latin meaning together, with, in combination.
